Definitely a case of two heads being better than one. It can be difficult after a long day and work and a lengthy commute - but this kind of shared moment is what cements a relationship.

Thank you, tfawcus, for your review. Yes, after a long day at work and a lengthy commute, two cooks are better than one. Thanks.

I don't know why I already figured out that you could cook. You must be an excellent cook because you even know what arugula is and that it could be used in replacement of parsley. I didnt know what it was or that it could replace parsley. This should tell you about my cooking. My family loves my cooking but I am not the best cook.
Two cooks are far better than one. -- I agree and I love you Tanka poem.

Yes, Tier, two cooks are better than one. Thank you for your review. I am glad you love my Tanka.

I like this one, Andre. It is very universal in its theme. Nice use of a limited dialogue thrown in. Only one slight typo - you spelled "arugula" wrong in the fourth line. (I was wondering why that line only had six syllables.)

Oh, thank you, Thal1959, for your review of my very universal tanka. I corrected arugula. Thanks again.

You are always welcome, Andre.

Lucky you :) two cooks in the kitchen better than one, or is the saying only one cook in the kitchen? heh heh... well, anything done with the one you love is better. I love your lover's tanka.

Oh, thank you, Gypsy, for your review. This tanka was too good to leave in my notes for your class. It has received good reviews and a couple of reviewers expressed interest in taking your Tanka class. Thanks again.

I happen to prefer arugula over parsley any day, Andre. It has a LOT more flavor, a bit of a "bite", and is more appealing to the palette than parsley.
Quite frankly, parsley tastes a lot like freshly mowed grass.
Now, you might be wondering how I would know what freshly mowed grass might taste like...or, perhaps not.
I'll endeavor to explain it to you anyway.
I know because it gets in my mouth, hair, eyes and nose when I mowing.
Nice tanka, great form.
Good luck with it...
