DEAR, JDRBAR many thanks for your kind review and generous stars. I'm currently wrestling with early stage ALZHEIMERS and the medications alone have their own way with one's dream world. Frankly, I have never been less than excited, puzzled, or simply delighted at what my dreams may deliver but certainly, there is a dark side to all kinds of aspects of our life and I though I would share a bit. Amen Mr. Vance!!! I love your dark/dream poem. I believe there is much good in the darkness. It is when we totally relax, and our spirits travel. Sometimes to scary places, sometimes to great beauty and truth. Loved this!!! Blessings...

A beautiful poem Vance. The words are rich and full of images that are very solid. I can feel the dreamer sinking into the chaos of the night before realizing that they are never alone

'Dark Night Prayer'- Outstanding title.
My favorite part: 'Why do dreams wait for your arrival and spatter stories so bland?'- This gives the reader something to think about.
Great artwork: The image shown supports the poem. When I first saw it, it looked spooky.
