Good Morning,
Normally I'd say this is a lovely start to my day, but as I was up most of the night, technically, it must be lunch time!
And I can't think of a better way to be. All our experiences, good or bad, are what shapes us into who we are, you get the message across clearly.
Thank you for sharing

I'm in the UK... it's 08:30 just now. Feels like I've pulled an all nighter ...and I'm definitely getting too old for that malarkey!

I'll pitch in with a six for this one, D. It reads smooth in rhymes and meter. Makes good sense and sentiments from someone who has had a good life. And now, for reminding everyone of the good life you've had... "May a camel with a weak bladder relieve itself over your bowl of corn flakes!"

You'd be surprised, D. The Arabs wash their hands and faces, and will even drink camel urine.

Yes I agree . I believe that we all ask that question in life, about life, more than one or twice. "If I could do it all again I would do it all so differently!" I know that i have said it, again and again but I meant it though.
This poem is actually deserving six stars but I don't have six. This poem should be framed.

Dip, I love that ending, "I've loved my life! I'm no trendsetter." It is about being satisfied with the life you are living now. This is a poem about an elderly man looking back upon a long life with regret. It is about seizing the moment now and not looking back with regret.
Only suggesting is to decrease the punctuation in this section:
Nah,I've loved my life! I'm no trendsetter.
Thank you for sharing another fine poem.
