So simple yet so beautiful. Saying goodbye is always so difficult to do. The artwork is perfect for this too. I remember when I was a child I hated saying goodbye to anyone, especially when we had family round to visit. I wished the days would never end, but unfortunately they always did.

Good symmetry, nice rhymes, natural flow of thoughts and related visual imagery; I liked the speed, movement, ups and downs, feelings and enjoyed the read.

Yes indeed, the one on the right certainly looks as though she is about to burst into tears. The one-six-one format is an interesting rhyming exercise, and one that, because it is required to be so brief, must be difficult to work into a poem that says something worth while. Well done here.

Powerful use of punctuation here to enhance the meaning. These refugee children must indeed be asking why, as they are whisked away from their homes. Their tears of separation are heart-breaking.

Well constructed poem that captures its theme uniquely.
Should make an interesting entry into this contest.
All I can say is "See ya!"

Daddy must have gone to work. That could be a heart-wrenching tragedy to children. Why can't they at least get out for the ice cream truck. Good photo for added irony. Good work.

The syllable count is correct. When I look at the picture I wonder where could they be going. Maybe to a better home o a new family. Saying goodbye to what they once knew. Good luck in the contest.
