This is a very well written poem about waiting. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery with your words. It does seem we are always waiting, but that gives me more reason to try to be patient, which is hard for me. Blessings, Teri

Thanks for the great review and your comments supporting this minimalist piece. I am glad that you enjoyed it, I like trying out new forms and mechanisms for making music in language, in this piece the music comes from all the repetitions of the word 'waiting', and it seemed to capture that feeling of static, of inertia, at the same time estory

Thanks for the great review and your interesting comments about this rather experimental piece. in this poem, rather than rely on meter and rhyme, I tried to create music through the repetitions of the word 'waiting' estory

Yes, waiting is a big part of life. As you said in your author's notes, the anticipation is the best part of waiting. The motto in the Army was to 'hurry up and wait.' It felt like we were forever in lines. Thank you for sharing this intriguing poem,
