You and my wife would get on like a house on fire, she is the queen of cloud gazing and she and my girls derive a great deal of pleasure from allowing their imaginations to run free. A nice little rhyming poem Gypsy, well done friend, nothing ventured nothing gained friend : )

Wow Gypsy I am impressed. This obviously means I have to have a go at writing a haiku! lol. Nicely written in proximate rhyme interesting content I must say. I loved your first verse but then the wine and hooch cut in and you went all psychedelic on me haha. I wish I had a 6 for effort.

Gypsy, I enjoyed reading this one. There is whimsical feel to it which makes a light heart read which I need now. This poem cheers me up somehow, reminds me of bright blue days the sky above filled with white clumps of clouds slowly sail by. The blue beard weeds make it nice to be sitting on. Good end rhymes.

It is a beautiful romance poem, and we can imagine the scene. I gather Blue Beard refers not to the infamous serial widower, but to something much more reassuring.

Blue Beard flows near Caribbean rocks
followed by elephants in bright blue socks
It is playful and well rhymed.
Now are we going to see a haiku for Dip?
