I hate weeds. When I used to garden way back when it was dreadful how ell weeds grew but not the vegetables. LOL. What a lovely Haiku describing that.

When I read this I thought straight away, how true! unwanted eyesore... A perfect Satori. Well done, Gypsy, and the colours are fine in this one. I had no trouble with it and I like the choice, Giddy

Weeds are unwanted eyesore. This haiku tells of a place that no one pays attention to the aesthetic of the land so weeds are product of floating seeds from another area over take the place.

Weeds grow better than any other plant, and they will also hinder others' growth. We can only watch them grow, or watch them return.

Hi Gypsy,

Again you have written a wonderful poem and also put up a very nice picture to go with you. You are great at writing poetry and I'm always interested in
reading what you write.

Your poem can be read as a literal description of a weed, or it can be a metaphor for a serious, "unwanted eyesore". I admired your presentation as well. Cheers- Joan

Oh, this is so true. Got to love that one dark green weed that shines bright and grows taller than anything else is the hot beaming sun.
Weeds and I have a love-hate relationship. I hate them, they love me. I can't get rid of them, lol.

    Hello, my friend,

When I was a little girl, I liked picking flowers, only most of the time they were not flowers... they were pretty weeds.

    Thank you for reading.

Gypsy Blue Rose: I like your weed poem with it catching the sunlight.
Weeds can be anywhere. Thanks for promoting haikus on FS.

Did you have a book on Amazon? My daughters like poetry.

Damn weeds, yes, "Unwanted eyesores." I spent the day trying to rid my yard of the unwanted pests, with my potent pesticide. Two broken spray wands with leaking gaskets and I was soaked, ruined my clothes and $200 tennis shoes, and my skin is blistered. Then, I come to read your wonderful poetry to relax and unwind. And what is your poem about? WEEDS! LOL! Seriously, thanks sharing another fine poem. :-)

Wow... what kind of pesticide did you use? LOL sounds like a killer no pun intended. I am sorry about that.
