Very nicely composed and rhymed poem of this unique place. Image is spectacular. Author's note is very good. I can image the tenseness of waiting for the wind to die down which suspended. Great job. Marilyn

Thank you,Marilyn, for taking the trouble to join me in celebrating the uniqueness of this natural wonder of the world. The new cable car rotates giving one a 360 degree view of the surrounds.......lower slopes of the mountain, city of Cape Town, harbour, Robben island etc.

Beautiful, this is my favourite, "Impression given of white table cloth
Cascading down mountain in linen-like froth
A unique floral kingdom embraces the area
A notable member is the majestic protea "
Thoroughly enjoyed. Good luck for the contest.Namaskaram

Thank you so much for boosting my confidence. I wrote from my own experience of living beneath this imposing mountain.

Thank you for sharing your poetic ode to this wonderful natural wonder. The 'table' looks inviting from far away, but I imagine that the cable car ride was a bit traumatic. Good luck in the contest,

Rather enjoyed the originality of your poem. You have certainly recreated the scene in true poetry. I love the way you have rhymed words in an unusual manner as for instance - area and protea and it works. The picture well matches the verse too - you have provided us with an insight into the mood and feelings well. God work!
