The artwork shows such a beautiful color. The sunflower's vibrant color makes it stand out. It seems to radiate a heat that attracts attention. Being exotic and different, it would stand out in a crowd. Very attractive presentation. Such a beautiful flower, and it has so much power attached to it. judi

You captured the essence of a "cobalt sunflower" including its radiating "heat" and exoticism plus "isolation". Your use of blue text is quite an effective accent. Cheers- Joan

The artwork is absolutely gorgeous and brings to life the words of this most excellent piece of tanks poetry. I like the tanks form of poetry. You can express very meaningful poems with so few words. This is well done my friend,,,,,,,,Jim

This is a most unusual sunflower, when I saw cobalt sunflower, I thought hello Gypsy has lost her mind. Never have I seen a blue sunflower, until now that is. This time it is accompanied by a stunning tanka. Most unusual but lovely. Always there is an extra dimension to your work, Gypsy. Giddy

Talking about being the one-and-only taking its toll. This tanka style does drive a sense of lonesome for being by itself. Colbalt is an intensely deep color. It does also give some regal feel about it (besides the color royal purple). I guess when you have reached to the top, it does get lonely. Like those entrepreneurs who do have to have the tenacity to reach to the top and on its way does separate itself from the norm to get to the top. This tanka achieved its meaning of isolism state with the words carefully adjusted to give that feel. The color is so dark that it gives me a sense of numbness, but exudes a sense of private lonely satisfaction from achieving something.
I love the haiku part and its satori.
The supporting part extends the satori.
The poem contains exquisite words and picture.

Hello :)
Good tanka. I do get a visual picture of a blue sunflower--without the picture, (I love the picture you picked--it really looks like it is radiating.) Did the picture come first? :P LOL!
I hope you are doing okay. Have a good week!

A beautiful presentation. I like the light blue on the black background. The flower truly does out.
I had a feeling of peace reading this poem.
It's hard to review something written by the queen of haikus and tankas. 8-)

Hmmm great photo of a cobalt sunflower I take it.
Collectively these sunflowers present a cobalt hue of colour and can take on the radiant heat of a blue flame. On its own it takes on a different persona and certainly stands out

What a gorgeous flower, gorgeous colour. Wow. Very exotic. Indeed it stands out alone. I've never seen this before, or heard of it.
You did it justice here.
