Very insightful piece with a good demonstration of how sin spreads its curse to others, even when not meant to. The more sinners there are in a city, for example, the more new sinners will follow. We must turn this trend around and replace sin with grace.

Sometimes things get through to teens when you don't realize it. It's certainly important to think about the fact that what you do necessarily affects others. The youngsters in your group were certainly thinking about what would happen if you threw those eggs toward the ceiling. They would have been ducking and dodging! Well written. judi

Hi Patricia,

I'll bet those teens have in fact remembered that lesson. What a great lesson you gave them! Everyone can easily picture be covered with nasty splattered raw egg. Your example made it easy for them to grasp the idea that sins we commit can affect more than just ourselves. Yes, best to be "pure and honest"!

Excellent write, Patricia. A pleasure to read!

Interesting story and a very interesting way of illustrating your point. Visual aids always help people to remember a lesson. Funny how the possibility of being covered in egg made them realize your point.

This is a great lesson.- It's a good way to explain sin to young people.
The image of the eggs fits well with this.
'Object Lesson' is well-written.
I see NO NEED for improvement.
This story would be great in a little book for children.
Thanks for sharing your lesson.
Good luck with your future writing!

You taught me a lesson with this beautifully written piece. I get so caught up in myself, I often forget how my actions affect others. That in itself is a sin. Thank you for reminding me to monitor my behavior.

Patricia,
I believe the teens would/did remember your lesson. The visual certainly would help with learning & remembering it.

Good job with your story. I enjoyed reading it. It flows well & is a great length for this kind of lesson.

Thanks for sharing. Jan
