With maddening slowness, the Mistress rolled the ball on the carpeted living room floor. Howie rushed to the noisily rolling ball. Using his front paws, he swiped and kicked at the ball like a soccer player heading for the goal. (My Brutus loves playing with the ball, but mostly the squeaky toys. He always places them in my hands or in Joe's)
I never tried a snack ball though.

Hello again, Heidi; I bought the snack ball as a way to distract the boys if I went out for awhile. Howie loves it, but Bernie really isn't interested. He finds it much easier to get treats from me! Thank you for your encouraging review - there is always more to write about with the boys on hand,

Aww, this was an adorable story! I can imagine Howie just rolling around with his snack ball now. Lacey has a kong, I think they might be quite similar. Might have to get a snack ball now, Lacey picks up the Kong and drops it, all the treats then fall out!

Hi Chloe; Howie loves the snack ball, and Bernie isn't interested in the least. They have a kong, too, but the treats come out way too easily. Howie will fling it over his head in disgust when its empty. Thank you for stopping by to read and review. I hope you and Lacey are doing well,

Hi Teresa; thank you for stopping by to read and review. Snack balls are SUPPOSED to keep your dog occupied and make them work for their treats. Howie uses his to bully the furniture.

Looks like it's time for more misadventures of that lovable duo, Howie & Bernie...
Stretching his front legs out in front of him, Howie settled down for a nap. Of course, he never knew when the Mistress would decide to move, and he would be forced to settle in a new place.
... I can't even go to the bathroom without Gidget, my sixteen-year-old Chihuahua canine companion following after me, Patty.
Talk about separation anxiety! WHEW...
On the TV was one of those court shows, and the people were arguing in annoying voices. How on earth could the Mistress enjoy this stuff? It was beyond Howie's comprehension. ... I gotta agree with Howie, the dog's, viewpoint here, Patty.

He loved the Mistress's pillow. In addition to its being so squishy, the pleasant scent of the Mistress permeated the material. ... You must be a frequent bather.
That's a good thing, LOL...
In reality, dogs find scented soaps and body washes foul-smelling while they love the scents of decay and stale dog urine.
Ever observed your doggie rolling around in the yard?
It ain't vanilla-mushmelon body spray he's smelling in the grass.
But, I won't go there...or have I already?
I guess the moral of this tail...errrr, heh-heh... I mean, tale is that when all else fails, choose snacks!

Hi Dean; its always good to see you. Hey, court shows are highly entertaining - I can't believe the things people bring to court! Howie and Bernie try to cook up a story at least once a week - I can almost see them trying to come up with a concept.
