A lovely free verse poem Charlene with the lovely personification of day and night.
Beautiful phrases and vivid imagery throughout this well written piece. .

A very well-written free verse poem. Sunrise and sunset is the time night and day meet to change their roles to bring darkness for the one side and light to the other side.

The imagery of Night grabbing the hand of Day is good. I wish you'd play more on that metaphor of Day and Night dancing and being some kind of lovers instead of turning it into a battle of sorts in the second stanza. A third verse fleshing out the relationship of the two would have added more to the poem too. It has promise!

    Thank you for your feedback. It's important to get as many objective points of view as possible and you have some very good points. I may rewrite it later. My days have become SO busy, I find it hard to write anything (I have a book I'm trying to work on) so it won't be soon, but I will definitely take to heart what you said. Thanks again.

A wonderful free verse poem with a strong metaphor throughout of our fight between good and bad.
Some excellent lines that hold an interest until the last line which doesn't disappoint

This metaphor for good and evil as told through the use of darkness and light rings true. The words flow well, and the piece has a nice rhyme and rhythm,

Nice personification of Day and Night. The scene set as they dance to Dusk's music, the certainty that her light will always shine, leaving dark to wait patiently, silently. Lovely images.

Excellent Poetic Verse.
This is a Poem that has Character and even Humor has been added;

What makes this Poem really work is that it flows very well from beginning to end with the ability of the Reader to Envision Several Trains of Thought as to what is really being posted here.

Is it Humorous?
Is it Sensual?
Is it really about Night and Day?
Maybe...Just Maybe...It's All Three or More.

This is an Enjoyable Read...Very Well Presented...Quantum Traveler...Phil.

    I really like the many Possibilities that one can read into this Writing.
    When I first read it I found it quite Humorous and as I reread a few more times it just kept changing.
    Outstanding...You can't find to many poems that can do that.
    I guess you could call it a "Chameleon".
    Quite Enjoyable...Q.T...Phil.
