    Even though the further from the roots the vine extends the more dangerous it is, the sun is so alluring that the vine cannot resist and just keeps spreading out towards it. Like a young person leaving home enticed by what the world has to offer among other interpretations. :)) Anyway, I'm just supposed to show up and look pretty. HAAAAHAHAHA! mikey

I like that the sun "entices" the grapevine to grow with its warmth even though it is far from the place or where the actual life of the plant starts, the roots.
