Ulla, this is so beautiful! What a strong verb you chose too, so elegant: "cascade" - it makes it very easy to picture this wonderful haiku in the mind's eye. Masterful writing of a tiny form so quickly dismissed by those who don't write them as 'easy' - they are not, and you've done an admirable job. I enjoyed this immensely. :))

This haiku, Fragrant White Blossum, uses sixteen syllables to create the wondrous sight of brilliant cherry blossums falling and covering the landscapes and seascapes wherever they land. Nice.

What a lovely picture your words paint - it would a lot like snow - we've noticed today when out in the lanes that the blossom is dropping quickly now - it doesn't last long.

A vivid write, the cotton woods covering the actual sight but the blossom's having a life steals through the scene taking their place in the beauty.

Wow! That is one bumper crop of cherry blossoms for a bumper crop of cherries.
A lovely haiku with an excellent satori line.

I like the images you're giving me here! Very nice! The only comment I have is that I would change it to:

fragrant white blossom(s)
(cascade) down the mountainside
sweet cherry dreams

A very well-written haiku. The beautiful cherry blossoms with their distinctive fragrance in abundance. It is nearly harvest time for you and dreams of buckets full of cherries emerge.

I read it backwards and forwards and it most certainly fits the bill and is Quite lovely. My Son, DIL and Granddaughters are living in Japan at this time. I can't wait to see the new pictures of the cherry blossom festival.
