This is a charming poem of flying in sleep. I sometimes DO have these dreams, which it seems that you may also have. They say we are "astral traveling" during these dreams. Your poem flows and rhymes well. I think this is a nice poem for anyone, not only a child. Good luck in the contest. Marilyn

These simply rhymed quatrains have an easy flow and show a child's whimsical dream of all things lovable and it seemed a prophetic dream.

I love children's rhymes. I like the rhyming and flow of your poem. I like the idea
of the stars changing colors. Also the idea of the stars being dogs and dolphins.
And then, you have the child being compared to a hummingbird acting quickly.
I think children will enjoy this poem very much. I sure did. As a teacher of
young children I can visualize them smiling as your poem is being read.

This is a beautiful children's rhyming poem, I enjoyed unrestricted rhymes, dreaming and the objects in the dream and playful feeling and emotion of dreamful enjoyment of having kissing which happened in reality.
