A reckoning of change in the outer sphere and an acknowledgement of the need to equate the warmth that maintains optimal temperature hidden from homo-sapiens eyes of clay made flesh enabling that created inclusive none binding cycles to live truly free uninterrupted as we ourselves aspire to immolate walking continuously forward because of the very nature of created inclusiveness and our likeness of the unborn....Deep, My Brother, deep....Cranial Thinker

That is one thing I love over here in NZ, wood burning fires in your home, Mmmmm! Who doesn't love the smell, feel, warmth and on those special occasions, romance ; ) of such a home. Nice!

You write as if you are going into the throes of Winter Badger. I thought you lived in America? Great Photo even if a touch grainy. Thanks for sharing

There is something about gazing into an open fire on a chilly night that inspires reflection and fond memories. Maybe even memories of old flames - one never knows!

I see that fire has been an inspiration to you lately, Darren! I like the fact that fire can console after losing daylight and warmth.
