I just love this style I've been eating up on it though the text I've read doesn't give the same line count as is used in other countries, if I've understood correctly it's due to translation. I am going to have a shot at this. I'd really appreciate your in put if you have spare time only. Sad that people do come and go yet the trees well rooted to its spot I have a thing about trees love them this may sound crazy but I feel what they say.

It is very true, is it my imagination or

Think of how a tree can live centuries, yet each year produces a burst of youthful energy as its flowers open. They never seem to weaken, only to strengthen.

Yep, the good old tree is here for the long haul. No fleeting visit, He stands steadfast. This begs the question? do trees have a gender Is there a male and a female tree? lol
Nice haiku Gypsy, food for thought

I have a fascination with trees and how long they have been around and what has taken place over the years around them. This is what drew me to your poem. Thanks for sharing.

The sound animation scared me, but it's nice now. Great artwork choice. Good visual imagery created. Good alliteration with S words. Good comparison between life and nature. The satori is subtle and nice. Good luck in the contest.
