This is a lovely suite of poems about the weeping willow. I was always drawn to these trees when I was little. That is until my mom started to use the wispy and de-leaved limbs as whips for when I was bad! Your poems flow well, and are interlinked. Thank you for sharing,

Oh my Goodness, I couldn't help but giggle when you said you loved them till mom used them when you were bad. It's not funny, it's just the way you said it was. Aww poor little thing. Thanks Patty

Good little story. I felt sad and lonely reading of her grave. You have a way with words. I really love the image of the weeping willow and love. :)
Hopefully, I'll see you tonight. :)

That's some interesting history you've included concerning the legend behind the name of the weeping willow tree, Kerry.
I enjoyed it almost as much as your haiku suite featuring the tree of the same name.
Notice I said "almost", heh-heh...

ha-ha . Thank you so much Dean. In an Autumn weeping willow I did that had to few of words; I had put a longer more detailed story of willow. I did quick notes today; for I have been on a writing frenzy. I'm about to post another suite. :) I'm glad you liked it.

What a beautiful back story, it reminds me of Daphne the tree nymph, or of Isabella and the pot of basil, grand and yet classical well done this is immense and deserves a six but I don't have one love Meia x
