Were it not for the virgin birth of Christ there would have been no redemption for mankind. He had to have been born through the Holy Spirit so He would be without sin, and be the prefect sacrifice for the sin of all mankind.

Amen...and that same Holy Spirit empowered Him to resist temptation and go to the cross.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
