A good reminder to stay strong no matter what we go through. Sometimes, there isn't really a choice in the matter. It's lie down and die or get up and stand tough.

Very true, Patricia. There have been many circumstances that I have faced, and I initially thought I could not handle. It is then that I realized that the strength came from God, and He was holding me up during my tribulations. Thank you for sharing the scripture. I am going to read it after reviewing this poem.

Hi Patricia. Sometimes when the chips are down and we go through difficult times, we do have the strength to get through it. I do believe God gives us that extra boost during those times. Then when the crisis is over with we can collapse and say, "how on earth was I able to do that?" Marilyn
