This poem, Tofu, makes fun of the most useful soy bean product on the planet. Tofu is an excell -- never mind I can't bring an argument about it because you're right. Tuft sucks.

Loved your humor. But I actually love tofu, too. It picks up any flavor you want so you might want to soak it in picante or something. My reason is I need the calcium and I can't have dairy.

    hmmm, might try that (though doubt it), but thanks for the suggestion. You never know.
    I have suggested to the Blue Bell ice cream folks that they make an almond milk ice cream, for the dairy intolerant, and the lady answered me and said it was certainly worth considering, so maybe sometime soon?

I must admit I'm not particularly fond of tofu, it is commonly eaten in Asian countries. I'm fond of Asian food, but despise sushi as well as sushi. Well done with this entry in this contest, I concur with you, good choice of subject, excellent entry, written in free verse with some rhyming, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

    thank you, Roy. After reading your review I went back and read my poem several times with accents on different words, and now I understand why you said free verse with some rhymes. If you read it a certain way it has a meter and whole thing rhymes, but it's one of those that can be read different ways, it seems. Glad you liked it anyway. thanks again, and thanks for helping me see your point of view.

Absolutely my sentiments entirely. Having just had a vegan daughter to stay for the last five weeks, I am heartily glad to be eating proper food again.
