Well written, author. The boredom of such meetings,( I've attended many) is so well depicted in your poem. If spoken words could be converted, this world would not need money and maybe we could get a lot more actually done! Good luck in the contest.

I not only could relate to this, but loved the way you penned it. I always said meetings are held, and accomplish little. Then another meeting is held to deal with unfinished business the last time.
A great read, and I loved your characters' nicknames. Rhyme and rhythmn are good too

A very well-written poem about the dreadful meetings we have to attend at work no one is excused except when you are dead. After the meeting there are loads of work waiting on your desk.

Sounds like the Peter Principle of Incompetence
or some such title from long ago

Yes, work meetings are the worst. It feels like they are called for reasons unknown. Maybe because someone says its the way to be more productive? But what about the time spent away from work while at the meeting? Well paced, and funny. Thank you for sharing,
