good alliteration with the first line, feathered friends fly, and they do here in a frenzy sometimes. great imagery and the last line is so true. When they fly I wish they'd take me with them lol

Hi Teresa - good addition to the book. Your lines one and two interconnect perfectly and line three is a very good satori. Good use of alliteration with the letter F. Nice new picture of you on your profile page. Warm regards Dorothy x

I like your satori for this haiku, Teresa. You've got two great lines of imagery, and the perfect aha for the haiku. I love the sound of honking geese flying overhead in the fall. Great job.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

Well, hopefully the birds won't have to worry about the frost too much longer and that spring is right around the corner. Nice alliteration throughout the entire first line. Marilyn

I like this haiku. You have two great sentences to create a wonderful image. I see Canadian Geese, I love the honking noise they make Great alliteration in the first line.
"frost warning" is a wonderful satori. Really awesome haiku.

Re your Haiku poem about our feathered friends....
feathered friends fly
south to warmer climate--
frost warning
I seems to me that these flying creations of God often have more sense than humans.

An excellent autumn haiku Teresa. Many of our friends fly south for the winter too. Here in NC, we don't usually get harsh winters but a trip south would always be a welcome change.
Nicely done with lovely "f" alliteration..
Blessings

This is definitely deserving of a 6 but I, sadly, am out. Excellent connection of the first two line and the satori is marvelous. Beautiful work with this one, I enjoyed it very much. I also like that you did not use an illustration with this. Your words painted the picture perfectly.
