Such a cute poem! Yes, clover do appear to jump and roll with the breeze. Thank you for sharing this whimsical piece,

A delightful flower 5/7/5 poem.
Excellent use of alliteration with somersault - steep and topsy turvy.

Well done.
Blessings
Janet

A very well-written 5-7-5 about a flower. I don't think I ever saw wild purple clover, the way you describe it in your poem seems to be worth looking at.

Dear Mystery Writer,

This was a fun poem about the clover and I could see it happening. *smile* Only a couple of notes for you:

1.) somersault(s) down steep hillsides

2.) land(s) topsy-turvy

Thanks and good luck

A well-written contest entry. I think you completed the challenge of the contest very well. The purple clover flower is delicate, beautiful and you can make a tea out of it. Every grazing animal loves clover too. Well done.

I enjoyed your 5-7-5 Flower poem. I think it should do well in the contest as it brings sharp images to mind. I myself am not gifted in the 5-7-5 poem nor haiku of any kind, but I sure love to read them! Bravo!

Nice haiku that gives clear image of clover growing down a mountainside. Or maybe its someone rolling down a hill covered with purple clover.

Good luck in the contest.

Keep writing
