Terrific piece of writing. You chose a wonderful composer to play. I love his loud, powerful stuff... would sound great on piano. :)

The music I referred to is so powerful and uplifting as well as tragic heartfelt. I love that you understand this.

I sense considerable feeling in this entry. Be it genuine or the desired impression, you bring it off well. Ballet and classical music are more alien than Greek to me,
so for the feeling, and flow of the write, which are excellent, fivers.

Mystery writer: I've been busy. ***stars*** for you! ***
Great story of both sides - passion and chains - music for the soul.
Have you heard music played in five pianos? Do you play????
I like the Nutcracker. Thanks for the history research and story.
Great entry!***

Thank you so much. I am a choir teacher and play piano, but not like the masters. These pieces I mentioned are enthralling and captivating. I loved your response and so appreciate the high rating.

Have you looked up the key of David? He tuned his harp to a higher level and the demons flew. It's at 400+ level of music and people use this for therapy. Teresa Crevier is a gifted piano player who plays five pianos at once. She plays Heaven's music! You can check out her web page. God bless. I like your story! flylikeaneagle

I have been trying to understand exactly what Flash fiction is, so thank you for writing an excellent example - it has helped, no end. The story of a 'possessed' musician is succinct and complete with vivid imaged. The way you have woven in the 'supernatural' theme is most impressive, and I hope you win this contest.

that is weird and wonderful, with a terrific ending!
If this is a story that needed telling, are you the violinist and pianist? And if so, congratulations! It must be very satisfying to play that well.
Your story had good tension back and forth, keeping the reader in suspense, and then the surprise ending. good job.

I am actually a choir director who while being a musician and can play piano, I cannot come close to these masterpieces. They are so incredibly beautiful. thank you for your kind words.

What a lovely story of flash fiction, beautifully told, and a joy to read. I've often heard that children up to the age of five can remember angels and their previous lives, but then we forget. Such a shame, I'd love to be able to remember them. Well done, I loved this story and wish you much luck in the contest. :) Sandra xx

A smile slowly crossed my face as I became human. Full of faults, vulnerable. My new friend, my composer, God, became part of me. He spoke to me through music. I interpreted it for the world. The music and I, united by melodious harmonies, both anxious to fully live.
~ what a lovely allegory of the spiritual journey!

Hi Mystery Author:
I really enjoyed your supernatural flash fiction. Your story is well thought out and well presented. I saw no SPAG, nor any need for corrections. I really enjoyed the ending, where the child prodigy identified as a vulnerable human, neither angel or demon. To arrive at this conclusion through the exploration of Tchaikovsky's life was brilliant. (I took violin lessons - no prodigy here - when I was in elementary school, so I really did identify with the story.)
Good luck in the contest.

thank you so much. Tchaikovsky's music is so brilliant and he was a troubled soul. I feel so happy that you took the time to read this. The Supernatural contest intrigued me. I am a musician but definitely not a prodigy.
