There definitely was the feeling that Anderson had feelings for Shannon. The tension between them is spot on. Great read and thanks for sharing.

I know the feeling of playing pool with someone you're getting to know, and you kind of like them...and I'm getting that feeling here, so I think you're doing a nice job with this part of the story. Anderson is starting to have feelings for Shana...but less clear are Shana's feelings toward him. Maybe she's not there yet. Accepting the clothes will be a big step I think.
Well done,
Carol

Still an interesting story. Romance in the making. You are good at that. Love the way it glides along covering hidden thought. Well done as usual. /Ben.
Sometimes this year, Silent Hands of God will be out. Thomas Neilson Publisher, West Bow Division will present it with video and other. Best to you.

I've missed a few chapters and see now that things are heating up with Anderson's feelings toward Shana. Attempting to halt his feeling, he ordered dinner. Like that will change anything. lol
You're doing a good job taking things slowly and allowing the plot to develop another layer.
I didn't see anything to correct.

Wow, that was short. I have been trying to catch up with my messages for a couple of days. I only have mornings since I am moving and still working in between. Great chapter. Wish it was a bit longer. Finally he is showing interest.

I think you are doing a fine job of letting us see Andersen's growing feeling for Shana. She was quite the tease when she looked over her shoulder just then. Men; it takes so little to get their attention. The imagery you created allowed the reader to be at the pool table.
A nit: but if you like them(+,) then they're

Hi, Barbara. Well one can certaainly see the romance bubbling to the surface in this chapter, my friend. The old "I'll show you how to play" ploy. LOL

Suggestion: This sounds too contrived. "After a large swallow, Shana faced Anderson." ( It doesn't flow well.) Try, "Shana paused and faced Anderson."

I don't think you should have that note at the bottom about romance and the future of the book. That is something that you should just let the story unfoldm and let the reader find out.

Good job once again, Barbara. Blessings, Bob

I will rethink that note. I have it there because many people, especially reviewers new to me, see the romance tag and immediately think of some jump in the bed novel and are disappointed. My romances take a while to build. I will fix that correction. Thank you for the kind review.

Hi
This is a good chapter
You could have Shana as novice player
rip a gigantic hole in the felt table
oops . It would only cost a few $k to fix
Best regards,
K River

The subtle hint of romance shines in this chapter. Anderson is smart to change the subject. Your moving this story along smoothly. Great chapter.
