This next chapter is well written. I find myself almost as excited as the students to see what's next. The methodology behind this style of teaching seems wonderful to me. I was one of those AP students that ALWAYS needed to be challenged. Thank you for sharing,

A nit: She read what was one (on) the slide.

Thank you for sharing that with me, Patty! Any suggestions you want to give along the way, please let me know. The whole model will unfold as we go, and some of the things you might suggest I'll tell you if it's going to be addressed later, but the majority of the model is student driven, and so they have a big buy in to it. Again, more will come up as I go, but thank you for the information about being one of my "kids".

This reads a little like it is an observation. I was waiting for something to happen. But outside of that this was well written. Great use of dialogue. "felt" real.

Unlike my stories, which are mostly dialogue, this is a model that takes a lot of description on my part. There will be times when I have dialogue, but it is non-fiction, and I try to stay away from fabricating conversation, and rely on what was really said. As I said, this is way out of my genre, and more along the line of other education books.
    Thank you for your input,

It means," I explained, "things are going to rearrange a bit on how you learn. When we're through with the presentation, maybe you'll get a better idea of what I mean. 'As far as whether I'm needed, I sincerely hope I'm not, at least not the way I was. The walls of this class are about to disappear, along with the time you're in chemistry. This will no longer be just one of your classes, it will become an adventure into your future, and chemistry will be happening all around you."
I waited so see if there were any more questions, and then switched to slide two. Another image appeared on the board.'
WOW! This blew my mind, in a cool Matrix type of way :) I love it and so enjoyed reading it love Meia x

Thank you, Meia!! You are so sweet and supportive. I appreciate this as I take a venture into non-fiction. It's much easier when you can make facts up, not so easy when you have to trip around "proper" wording for education readers, and not slip in a vampire or werewolf when you need to mix things up a bit. haha.
    Thanks you,

This definitely poses unique challenges as well as opportunities.
You are presenting thus well as a story and you are making it entertaining as well. That's not an easy chore.
Great job!
Michael

Thank you, Michael, and I'm glad you appreciate how hard it is, especially for us fiction writers. It's hard to stay on script, and keep it real. I'm glad it's working. Some of my other readers, ones that read my fiction, are a bit bored out of their heads over this. haha. Oh well, I'll post another sci-fi soon.
    Take care,
