They say Bumble bees are becoming less and less with each passing year, we need these beautiful creatures so badly, we must learn to protect habitat so our wildlife can flourish.
A wonderful Haiku which tells the story of a bees final moment...
Have a great evening

Thank you, YNWA. for your review of my "wonderful Haiku" about our need for these beautiful creatures.
Comment from Pantygynt
There is somehow an infinite sadness lurking in this haiku that is really quite touching. Mina was lucky not to get stung on the nose in a last act of vengeance against a cruel world.

Yes, Pantygynt, Mina was lucky not to get stung. I sometimes use a bittersweet quality in my poems and stories--an infinite lurking sadness. Thank you for your review.

The tristesse certainly lurked in this one for both bee and summer.

"far from floral fields" not madding crowd? LOL. Your opening line makes me think of my favourite author Thomas Hardy.
A beautiful poem about the bumble bee whose presence augurs another season. Well done.

Yes, Autumn Splendour, I saw the opportunity to use the dying bee as an auger for another season. Thank you for your review.

The bee can also serve as symbol of the ephemeral nature of life. For a moment a bee enjoys pleasure, but only enough for the species to reproduce and survive

How nice. I love this last line's farewell sweet summer.
It's really touching. It conveys volumes in such few words.
A unique work
Have a nice day

Thank you, Lova Vijay Kumar , for your review. I am glad my haiku "conveys volumes in such few words."
Comment from Bucketlist
It's too bad that the bee population has vastly diminished anyway. Finding dead/ dying creatures reminds us of our own mortality. Mina brought your attention to that cycle. Thanks for sharing.
I liked the brevity of a haiku, and images of changing seasons. It's hard to find anything needing improvement ............Trisha

Thank you, Trisha, for your review. Yes, dead and dying creatures remind us of our own mortality. Mina will never let me forget it. Thank you for your review of my brief haiku.

your haiku speaks of a bee who has lost his way and finds his final resting place on your porch. Your satori "farewell sweet summer" tells us we are nearing the end of summer and the bee dying signals the late summer as well.
your form is good with the first two lines connecting well and your satori is wonderful

awwww, and good for Mina. Hope she didn't try to eat it.
Maybe she used to be a writer?? prior life? kidding.
This is a good haiku, though sad story. What fun to be inspired by Mina's interests. Mina the Muse!
good job.

Yes, pome lover, Mina was probably a writer in a former life. Given that I named her after a character in Dracula, she love sad stories. Thank you for your review.
Comment from BeasPeas
Oh, this is so nicely composed. So sad, too. Bees do great work and a delight (as long as we don't get too close). Fabulous alliteration in the first line. Marilyn
