I live in Nevada and my Health Care insurance carrier is in Texas. I don't get what you are saying here. I wish someone would do something to bring it down. Insurance takes a big hunk of my pension money. Nancy

The health insurance issue is a very interesting subject Brett. here in Australia we have medicare public insurance we you get a proportion of your cost back for general GP visits. and also if you go into hospital as a public patient. It is now mandatory to have private health insurance whilst working. Private insurance companies were losing their credibility and affordability and a lot of people were pulling out of them. Doctors used to bulk bill medicare so it would cost you nothing to go to the doctors. The government just could not afford this anymore.

I have no real thoughts on this one. I couldn't afford the Obama Care and presumably can't afford this either if it went through. Basically, I will go on living until something out there kills me and I will never know.

I personally think that no matter what he tries to do whether the Democrats like it or not, they will not pass anything in his favor. It comes down to the elderly and how much they will be taken.
