It is a very captivating story of a dreadful queen. Is it all she could see was "Me." Her selfish ways made people suffer and killed the king at the end. The poem is very thrilling, fabulous. Unfortunate ending fairy tale. Sending you a cup of love so you can feel much better. Ella

Not every fairy tale experience in life closes with a happy ending, only those staged as feel-good food for the mind. Put good and bad in a burlap sack, that is if you can find one, and when you shake it up and pull one out, you'll be stuck with what the future brings. Great job. :-)

Thanks Ric, Not many do, when you really read the fairy stories, most of them are quite frightening! Witches that eat little children!! Goodness me, mine is tame by comparison, LOL!! Thanks again, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Oh Sandra, you are exhausted. I'm so sorry, but I don't blame you. A fabulous poem with a great story, well a fairy tale within. But a dark one mind you. I absolutely loved it. A hug. Ulla xxxx

Just my cup of tea, Sandra. I love fantasy, story, in anything. I have a part of me that remains the child. As usual, you have a knack for story telling.
Nicely done.
My best wishes.

This is brilliant, Sandra - you at your
best, in my opinion - such a tale of woe
that's beautifully presented - the words
flowing smoothly throughout.

I did trip on this line tho:
he smiled, and then he said these words, much to the queen's surprise.- perhaps-
he smiled, then said these words, much to the ................. What do you think? Just ignore if not in agreement.

Thank you so much, Margaret for those lovely 6 stars. My husband said the same thing about that line, so I'll take another look and take your words with me. Thank you for that, I'm really pleased you said something. (I am not telling my husband though!! ) Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

I love, love, love when you set your hand to poetry, Sandra.

There's always a charming old fashioned feel to your lines - the traditional stuff I was raised with. Good rhyme and nice, steady metre.

Good work, my friend.

Big hugs and wide smiles, xx

This is exceptional, even for you!

It was so easy to follow the story without having to figure it out. The rhyme and meter were perfect.

An evil fairy tale. Eeeek!

Great job.
