This was fabulous. It presents a good idea and memory. It also carries a great message about the pieces of life. Great job thanks for sharing Sandra

Thank you so much, Alie, I'm so pleased you enjoyed my take on the picture. Puzzles are excellent for giving you patience, or for giving it a thump and going out to play! lol! :) Sandra xxx

LOL you are so welcome. Unfortunately with 2 cats I do not have the enjoyment of puzzles but I agree they can be entertaining and indeed give one patience.

Sandra, I like this. Our.life surely is like a puzzle that is put together piece by piece. Sometimes we wonder how that piece could ever fit.

A very well-written poem. Building puzzles teach children to be patient and that determination will bring great results, just like it is in real life..

Your interpretation of the challenge is so well done, Sandra. Love the metaphor and message you give the reader. I've always loved puzzles, and I still do them! Nicely done.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

Thank you, Karyn, I do enjoy these challenges. I've been doing puzzles for years now. Very relaxing unless you get to the end and find a piece missing! :( Thanks my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra, this is an uplifting poem with fantastic rhyme, rhythm, and flow. A very wise person, your mom. I enjoyed reading it.

Fabulous sentiments, rhymes and flow, your poem has heart and it has been told with plenty of it. The third stanza, second line seems to need another word? Perhaps: 'Until oneyear I mastered it and I knew just what to do', anyways it's just a suggestion to put the icing on top of a fabulous poem, love Dolly x

What a wonderful exPerience you had and a Mother who had the Wisdom to teach you that valuable lesson.

I imagined it as a puzzle that is so often So hard to get the pieces in the right place and so frustrating,...but with persistence finished it and it was worth all the time and effort and the reward being a LIFELONG BLESSING IN YOUR LIFE.

Hi Nan, thank you so much for reading my poem, I'm not writing many at the moment. I'm so pleased you liked this one. My mum was simply the best, and I would give just about anything to have a few more minutes with her. Big hugs, my friend. :) xxx Sandra

    Dear Marilyn..

I am certain when I tell you that I have always een on the giver end and still am at the age of ninety going on 91 next month.

The only comrort it has it seems to all that I am not the age I am.

My comfort is that I head on a religious cassettet to "SAY THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS THOUGH THEY ARE."..so if that is their conception of what they see and seem not to acknowledge it, it may be our Father's way of keeping me in good shape.

I must say that it is only my beloved MOTHER WHO EVER GAVE.....AND SHE DID IT UNTIL THE DAY SHE DIED and it more than make up for the not receiving end of my life If you remember we have shared similar experiences in our life re one of our sons and our Ex's....Lol-- but not so funny....

OH man.. I REALLY liked this! What a fun read with a moral. It was lovely!

I just love when a writer can make words dance with music. The rhythm is a perfect waltz. Great work.

You re-ignitied my passion for puzzles. :-)

Perfect! Rhyme and meter are spot on, theme works with the picture, word choice is great, no spelling or grammar issues. The only problem is that I now have an old Peter, Paul & Mary song (Lemon Tree) running through my head--the first line's somewhat similar, though the theme isn't.
