Hi Linda, I'm sorry I've been so long coming back. I'm really pleased you enjoyed this one, it's true, life is like a puzzle and just when you think you have all the pieces, you find one is missing!!! It's happening so many times. But that's life. The joy comes when it all fits. Big hugs, my dear friend. Love you more. :)) xxxxx Sandra xxxxx

You always ask how everyone is, yet you are 'chugging' along yourself. You have the kindest heart, my dear friend, and I love you for it. Sarah is struggling badly, I feel so sad for her. Ian has been given a special pair of shoes for the new shape of his foot, but can't wear them until the wound has completely healed. Being diabetic, everything takes so much longer, we've learned. Still, his cancer is 'static' which is good news. I hope we all have some positive news this year, you too, dear friend. Keep strong, and keep that smile of yours. Biggest hugs. (((O))) xxxxxx Sandra xxxxx

How true . Some of us have bigger jigsaws than others to piece together throughout our life. It`s a good comparison . Especially if we manage to find that last piece before the end -- how annoying to have lost it !

Yes, life can be like that. There are days I feel like that four-year-old, or put another way, trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
I enjoyed this poem and I could relate to it all too well.
You wrote it beautifully, with your usual elegant style and wonderful rhyme and graceful flow.

What a great life lesson! I hate puzzles but I've learned to do them. But I like your presentation of daily working at something and finally putting it all together. Great message!

A well-written poem. You are very right. Life is like a puzzle with hundreds of tiny pieces to fit together. The words flowed well and combined easily forming the message of the poem for the reader.

I like your attitude, Sandra. There is something to
the idea that part of creative living is trying to find
that puzzle piece in our lives. Victor Frankl called it,
Man's Search for Meaning. The puzzle piece that gives
our lives completeness, purpose, meaning. -Bill

Victor obviously had the right idea. I doubt we ever stop searching, and that's good. Each time we think we have every piece, so we find we need another piece. Thank you so much, my friend. I'm really pleased you read and reviewed my poem, your response is so appreciated. :) Sandra xx

Oh, Sandra, how clever of your mother and so right she was. Our life is but a puzzle and brick by brick it's built. And then one day that most important piece fits in and our life becomes whole. A beautiful poem. So wise, and so beautiful words. A hug. Ulla xxx

What a wonderful metaphor for life itself - keep trying and we will ultimately find what 'fits' our individual life -the poem's rhythm jaunts along filled with an eternal bounce of hope
