So behind on my reviewing, so sorry I take so long.
I am dreadfully sorry I am not going to be able to take this class at the time being offered. I need a rest. If it were being offered next month I would be all over it as I will have the first 2-3 weeks at home to recover from my surgery.
I wish to become better at tanka but I will muddle my way along until you offer it again, dearest Gypsy Sensei
I have learned so much from you already and I know you have so much more I can learn. I cannot thank you enough.
Big BIG Buddha hugs

It's amazing how much I'm learning as a newbie in FanStory. I never even knew there are special poetry writing in a Japanese style. Thanks for opening my mind. BTW "waka" is Kiswahili (an East and Central African language) and means "burn". Remember Shakira's 2010 World Championship Football in South Africa:
Waka waka, eh eh...
Tsamina mina eh eh...

WAKA waka ..... HAHAHA I love that everytime I write WAKA I think of Sesame Street's tFozzie Bear Waka! Waka!
I am so happy that you learned something new about fanstory with my post. PLEASE, let me know if you need help or if you have questions about fanstory. I remember what it was like to be a newbie. :)
Thank you for your kind review, Apky. I appreciate your kindness more than you know.
I believe that one should treat everyone with loving kindness but it's hard to do that with hateful people with little minds and hearts. I do it to the best of my ability.
have a great week, sweetie pie :)

Gypsy, I have a couple of questions about your tanka class:
What time does it meet? Is East Coast, Midwest, or West Coast time?
Are the classes held on the Haiku Club Chatroom or do you have another student only chatroom?
Thanks.

Hello, honey, the class is at 5 pm Pacific day light. I live on the west coast too. :) the first day of class, all the students and I discuss schedules to see what works best for everyone. I'm self-employed so my schedule is flexible.
We have our own classroom in the haiku club. It's private and for students only.
Take care, Andre.

Great. I found your answer. 5:00 p.m. classes.

Good, I have a student who won't be able to make it on one Monday of the month so may end up changing it to Sundays and Thursdays ... we will see.
-
Yes, we'll see. I am clearing my schedule.

okay, no worries

I am sure I could learn something from this class. But I don't have the money and I am totally computer illiterate and know I would never be able to follow the directions. I have taken other classes and failure has always been the result. I wish you all the best and hope many sign up for the class. Thanks for posting this and letting us know about the class.

Thank you honey.
Don't sell yourself short. I'm certain you have awesome computer skills. I read your curriculum.

It is a good Tanka? Actually no Tanka at all and the rating down is more spiritual feeling that writing should be embraced by the heart rather than the commercial. I will no longer support advertising without heart. I only review - like the masses for the pennies. Is that what you want? Good luck with your class, but I will say that three of the best have left and Ray (mountainwriter49) should be teaching this class for he really has the center while you have the edge. God bless and keep you.
