You have to watch out for these crusaders who feel it their appointed duty to indoctrinate the world with their concoctions and ideas. With success the world will one day filled with their converts, then they will be forced to rebel against the rebels for nothing in life remains the same for long.

Hi Bill, it all started somewhere there between Euphrates and Tigris. But how could it end in the mindless killings we see today? Well, I suppose that deep down I know the answer. They've always been fanatics. It's only now they have the modern world to help them along. Abel an Cain springs to mind. Oh dear. I get carried away. And I'm not even religious. Wonderful poem. All the best. Ulla:))

Ah-ha!
Jumpin' Jihad, Bill.
So that's how it all started.
I just knew it had to have something to do with some braniac college student meddling around with things they ought not to be meddling around with.
Those braniac nerdy types are always a problem.
Thanks so much for confirming what I have suspected all along.
Now I can go and collect the $20.00 that Donald Trump owes me for the bet we made.
I'll split it wit'cha...
~Dean :)

He bet me as well to cover his losses. It's no wonder he's the president.

Yeah, go figure, right?

Learning never ends; poet opens a good lesson on humanity, and tells how man changes, transforms, students turn Jihadis; a nice poem I liked and enjoyed the free flow of thoughts, fine diction, visual imagery and balanced rhymes.

This poem made me chuckle, especially the end. I like the last verse being written in red and the theme about shooting up mankind as it was a nice touch. The whole poem made me laugh, though. Thank you for sharing.

Bill,
Strange, this thing you write of. I allllmost didn't read it, because I thought it was something in a different language. *smile* Entertaining and fun - a little. haha!

Sounds like every thing that tastes good just want give the best results, I iked the humorous tone that conceal a very good warning, but careful of your likes they may be distasteful in the end.

Dear Bill - you always have me shaking my head at your ability to turn a rhyme even in this what seems a humorous piece, ends with a solid impact of life as it seems to have impacted with the results you describe. I thought you did a bang up job on this one - pun intended:)
Thanks for sharing.
