Hi, Kar,
I like your mammal haiku! The words speak for themselves and need no photo. How delightful it is to see a colt prancing. The wobbly legs is a perfect description. I love the satori. Another well penned haiku in the minimalist form.
Well done.

A very good poem. I grew up on a farm and saw many colts dancing their first steps. It's amazing to see them born and then a few minutes later prancing away.

Thanks so much, Thomas, for your great review and comments for my colt haiku. It amazes me how quickly they learn what those wobbly legs can go...and we take months sometimes a year just to walk. I appreciate your kind response.

This sort of work I call 'delicious'. Maybe because its theme is innocent, has no deliberate message 'for the good of us all', or is written from the heart. Whatever it is, the words and the picture combine to make a delightful read. Congratulations.

this is a very sweet haiku, who doesn't love a colt.
I get a clear image of the colt wobbling around, it is so cute.
They are so frisky and fun to watch, I really like your satori.

Aye, carefree is right. Too young to understand
concern or danger. Just celebrating the ability to romp
and stomp. Lost in a new and glorious world.
Such innocence.
Well done, Indy.
Peace, Lee

Very nicely done haiku in the traditional vain. Solidly connected two lines with contrasting imagery: prances and wobbly and an good final line with carefree romp. Fine overall presentation... Good haiku this night...
