Very well presented. You certainly held a variety of jobs. Some of them sound they would have been very rewarding, such as working with the folks at Goodwill. I also wrote about my past jobs ("That Summer I De-tassled Corn"). It was largely unnoticed, and I promoted it again. It didn't get nearly the reviews the other posts on the subject did. Story of my life. judi

Hello, Judi, thank you for reading my silly post. I seldon get more that 15 or20 reviews because I usually don't promote my work but it's okay with me. You and other fans I care about read my stuff no matter what and I really appreciate that. I try to read as much as I can but life has been very hectic since I started painting and teaching classes. I will go read your story. I want to know.

    Thank you, honey. Luv ya.

You're very welcome. I will read things that I want to even when there's not much payout. If it's something good, it's worth it. judi

You have had an amazing life with so many interesting jobs. I can relate to dealing with perverts but especially the work you have done for the disabled. My mother worked for a small group that helped teach the disabled how to get a job. My sister is disabled and my mother worked with her as well. You are a talented teacher and we here at FS are blessed to have you.

You have an interesting background, my friend. Moving to a new country at 15 would have been pretty challenging, I think. Glad you ended up teaching classes here on FS

an interesting piece. You have lead an interesting life with many accomplishments. The song you have chosen is one of my favorite songs and I love the words well done.

Life is definitely an adventure, never knowing what the soon to come changes will be. Prepared or not, they are coming anyway, so as I've always warned, it's best to stay ready. Of course, I seldom was, and neither are most. I spent my early years with my grandparents, and at fifteen was off to cut my own path. Thanks for sharing your interesting journey. :-)

I think all resumes should be written in this style, with narrative comments interspersed among the employment history. You learn a lot more about the person that way. I love that you set this against the backdrop of "Truckin'" - lie is indeed, a long strange trip.

How cool that you've spent the bulk of your adult career attending to the needs of the victimized and marginalized - a life well spent. Thanks for sharing this.

Hello, my dear friend. Very good resume. Wow! You have been on a lot of jobs. But the one thing I saw in all of your work was your big heart that was contiually working with underpriveleged people in one way or another. bless you for that. I have no idea what a "pesetas" is...and what country was that you lived in, Marival?

Thanks for sharing. Bless you, Bob

I truly loved the way you divided each job and told about it. I am so proud to know you, you are a strong person and through your jobs and working with people, became the person we love

Wow! What a multi-layered past you've had! *smile* I'm still compiling my list, I hadn't thought about providing the details of each job. Great idea! Thanks for sharing!

You have had some difficult jobs. A salute you for your outreach and support work. It is not something many people can do. Sounds like you are doing what you enjoy now though. Doesn't get any better than that. :=))
