From the little I've been able to glean, McMaster is getting some bipartisan support. That will be great, and shows the respect McMaster enjoys. I wonder about how long any of Trump's appointees will last, as he seems so thin-skinned and determined to get things his own way. He has proclaimed that he knows more than the generals. Excellent, thoughtful article, and it's nice that you have some actual knowledge of McMaster's abilities. Great work. judi

Well it looks like Trump has the common sense and intellect to prudently elect these people to these important roles in military policy, procedure and decision.
These military spin doctors could only enhance the potential credibility as Donald as the 45th president of your country. Good luck and may their decisions be careful and calculated.

I do think he is trying to stabilize the country in the only way he knows how and I hope the good feel I get makes it true. So far he has exceeded my expectations despite the rumors that he is mentally ill.

First, I'm not American, I'm English. I thought your wrote this piece so well, it would do President Trump a big service to make sure this man is kept on and allowed to do the job he has accepted. Considering Trump possesses no military or foreign policy experience, surrounding himself with highly knowledgable advisors in these key areas is an exceptional decision for The Donald to make (Good call)
McMaster holds a Doctorate Degree in history from the University of North Carolina. (Good to know a history degree isn't a waste of time. LOL)
