Lovely flow to this poem. No pauses, or hiccups. Good use of rhyme. A beautiful read. You expressed the sentiment well.
Your lead-in is lovely:
"we've known for time that death is ours
the years the months down to the hours
not ours alone but ours to keep
we'll not step back or try to beat
this part of life that has to be
no choice of this for you or me"

Beautifully done. I have lost two who were dear to me with one in November and the other, December 26th. It's not been easy. "as this life has come to pass
life in death shall always last" is a most comforting statement and I thank you for putting it down.

I agree with you that we will all be remembered by someone - that's why its so important to be kind to those whose lives we touch. I also believe that with our passing, we won't be filled with sadness, but with love, hope, and blessings. Thank you for sharing this poem.

This is a good spiritual poem I like and enjoyed the read, the eternal thought on message that we shall be remembered by someone, that we must live in peace, and flow of thoughts and imagery.

Strangely this poem on death is incredibly uplifting and reassuring. The rhyming scheme is also quite comforting. I love 'life in death shall always last' If we can understand 'this part of life that has to be' then we really have nothing to fear. Thank you for this great tribute to life and death. MaggieF

once again I thank you very much I enjoy reading other postings and now due to your comments I am getting an understanding not only of the words but the way they have been written and this is helping me to review my own before posting, which I did so hopefully I am improving, I will do as you suggest ......kahpot

thank you, Badger 29 I guess being rather new at sharing I didn't realise this part of life was taboo in any circles, and I hope I don't offend anyone, I just write what I feel, what I see and have experienced, I am very happy that you have read and taken these words as they were meant (memorial).......kahpot
