A well-written contest entry. I really liked your artwork. The fog always makes one think of late Autumn and winter. I think you completed the challenge of this contest well.

    Thank you for reading and reviewing my Autumn ode. I am indebted to Keats for his great work and none can sum up this season better than he.

This ode to autumn, Farewell Summer, has a nice set up and employs Keats to aid in envisioning the full extent of the season changing picture:
SEASON of mists and mellow fruitfulness,...
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eaves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,...
Nice.

    Thank you Bill. This Ode of Keats is a favourite of mine. As a young teenager I recited it at an eisteddford.

Between Keats and yourself, you have a fine 5-7-5 poem
With excellent imagery of autumn
and a little alliteration, too
Exact syllables to the form
and the excellent art work, this is a solid entry
Well done
Good luck in the contest
