Brett, I thought I would take a look at some of your works after our civil and informative discussion on my essay about the Poe poem "City in the Sea." (No, this is not a covert act of revenge!) I found this essay, and found it informative and well written, though I could have expressed some dissatisfaction at the repeated use of the label, "The Donald," and the essay's presentation which does not conform to the collegiate style of essay writing. ( Intro - three paragraphs - conclusion.)

Naturally, I won't do this. I wrote my essay on the Poe poem to fit in that scholarly approved of form. But I really don't care for it. My previous essay, on the "Proper Near Rhyme," like yours here, is more freestyle than what would be the university norm. I wish to focus far more on what the writer has done correctly, than what I feel may be a reason for complaint - unless the complaint is undeniably valid and significant. Thanks for posting this.

As I said, Poe is one of my all-time favorite Writers.

My editorial does not conform to the collegiate style of writing one.

Way too much information to force into three paragraphs.

However, I do appreciate you taking the time to read this editorial and to write a review.

Excellent presentation on the difficulties Trump will have with business empire. To think that Trump won't be kept informed of business matters and giving advice to his sons is unrealistic. No telling how his foreign business interests will play a role in his decision-making. Even though he may be within the law to keep on keeping on as far as his business interests are concerned, that won't stop Congress from constantly holding hearings about some situation or other. Trump would probably rate a "2" on an ethical scale of "10," if that high. He'll do what it takes to make sure his businesses prosper even during his presidency. Something voters should have taken into consideration when they elected him. judi

That is a lot to juggle, but I don't see why he would have to give up his businesses. Did other presidents, the one's who actually had assets give them up? I'm not sure, I never gave it much thought in the past. BTW, I enjoyed The Celebrity Apprentice with The Arnold.

A very well-written editorial. It doesn't matter how he manage his own money while he is in office, as long as he doesn't steal the taxpayer's money to enrich himself. If he should die while in office, the money of the trust will go into his estate and the testament will then handle the money according to his last wishes.

Then I assume that he has done the right thing or is it just a sham to placate the public? Personally I don't see where it matters as long as he is President first.

    Probably a little of both.

Legally he can run his businesses and be President at the same time.

    Glad you enjoyed this posting.
