Hi Robyn:
I love the satori line in this less traditional haiku, and the fact that you've made it your first line, which is much less common. Cat burglar does say it all! The presentation is perfect in all of its elements.
Great job!

Hey, this guy would be more than welcome to snatch anything away from me that he wanted, with the exception of one of my children, of course.
For that, he'd have a fight on his hands!
I wouldn't be chasin' him either, I can tell ya that!
Like it would do me a whole lotta good anyhow. I mean, what would I do if I caught up with him, use harsh language?
Great haiku, Robyn. Some are gonna try and tell you that this is just a run-on sentence, but I have personally seen this technique used in haiku all over the internet.
Nice job!

Interesting that you decided to take what might be the satori line and made it your first line. The jaguar is very daring because of his ability to run fast. He can grab another animal's food and make off with it, secure that the morsel will be his. Great work with this. judi

I enjoyed this haiku in which the satori line appears first, driving he action and the descriptions to follow. Double meaning of cat burgler is effective. You also use strong verbs "snatches" and "outruns" which are vivid and descriptive. Thank you for sharing.

cat burglar --
jaguar snatches morsel
and outruns pursuers
This one makes Catwoman seem harmless. I guess the citizens of Gotham City make reason to fear this cat.

I have heard many names for this theft, cat burglar, Rob.. You I did you say with this, cat, theft, burglar. This theft is, has to be fast, sly and ready to jump on any opening, if that's not the picture has the remaining answers, great!
