Hello Janet,
Excellent imagery in this delightful reverie
a moving masterpiece in more ways than one
Beautifully rhymed and metered poem
where words float like clouds across the page
Excellent picture and presentation to enhance the imagery
Very well done

This poem is perfect for today where I live as the skies are filled with soft clouds and the temperature is near 60. I love how you personify the clouds as "drifting on breaths of God." And nice use of ABCB rhyming to enhance the joyful mood. Rod

I really like this muse on watching the clouds. They are fascinating. I also like the way you progress to the moon and stars and attribute it all to God's hand. Good rhyme and meter in this make for a smooth read

HI Janet, I love the clouds....when I take my grandkids to Florida once a year...that's the game we play...finding different pictures in the sky....I tell them that when our pets pass away they are up there jumping and playing from cloud to cloud...I have always wondered what it would be like to sit on one and look down to earth...sigh....I love your poem...very nicely written....and I love your picture...looks like a alligator opening his mouth on the right....and a hippo with wings on the bottom...LOL...love ya Linda xxoo ******

Yikes - a alligator opening his mouth on the right....and a hippo with wings on the bottom. I'll have to go back and check that out. haha

I value your beautiful poem. I especially like your "on breaths of God -- they dare to fly". Clouds are indeed awesome and a wonderful way to feel God. Your poem has enhanced that experience. Well done.

This is so beautiful, and I could relate strongly to the well-expressed sentiments because I too, have always been fascinated by the artwork in the skies. Whether clouds or stars or sunrises or snow falling, the skies are ever-changing art. So.. I loved the idea of your poem as well as the splendid way you executed it. I especially loved the idea of jumping aboard and sailing a cloud across the sky. What a ride!

A beautiful poem with some wonderful imagery. I loved murals sketched upon the sky. A nice romantic ending, to finish a most enjoyable read.

You've painted a pretty picture of a cloud-filled sky with your well placed words. I enjoyed the poem very much. The words flow well, and none of the rhymes felt forced.

Thank you for sharing this well-penned piece,
~patty~

This is a really lovely poem and I agree with you that the clouds are masterpieces in the sky. Ever changing, if you look long enough you can make pictures I find. I did it a a child and still do. Your poem moves along in a serene manner that suits the subject. Good rhyme and rhythm maintained throughout. Very nice final stanza and the whole is a good read. Warm regards Dorothy

Hi JMF,

I enjoyed your fanciful view of the clouds and all of the wonder they instill. I especially liked your final thoughts:

I'd choose one from the cobalt blue,
to sail with you beyond the sea.

Nice work!

Kim
