The imagery of your poem allows me to see the clouds in your description. The first line of the second stanza I like the best. Great poem.

Charming poem! The imagery drawn is very effective. The rhyming works well. Simply- short and sweet! It makes me want to float on a cloud too!

I always envisioned myself falling through them as if it were whipped cream. Of course it would need the maraschino cherry to boot.
I enjoyed your poem, finding it calm and soothing.
Nicely done. John

I do too! I love to find something in clouds, then point them out to whoever is with me to see if they see it too. This is a lovely poem, Janet, now I'll be looking at clouds and making them into poems!! Well done, it was a pleasure to read. :) Sandra xx

Your poem reads like an ode to the clouds, it is so light and flows well.
I enjoyed very much reading it and the art work you chose complements it very well.
"Each cloud a moving masterpiece" that's how I feel about clouds.
When I was a kid I used to watch the shape of those huge white clouds picturing that I was living in village, high mountains around me and that's what it looked like.
Thank you for sharing.

A beautiful imagination. I often look up at the clouds looking for different shapes. It is amazing what you can sometimes see, though I have never considered riding on one. Also your flow and rhyming was spot on.
Congratulations.

Clouds are interesting subject matter. It would u 's be fun to float on one. This poem flows well. The artwork works well with the piece.

Hello jmf4119, I love your poem, and I love big puffy clouds. They still amaze me. I especially liked:
Each cloud a moving masterpiece
like murals sketched upon the sky.
(I don't think that I shall ever look at a cloud without remembering the two lines above - beautifully stated - great analogy.)
I also liked:
If I could keep these wand'ring clouds
that stretch across infinity,
I'd choose one from the cobalt blue,
to sail with you beyond the sea.
(Just lovely. Good imagery and a dreamy feeling of calm and peace.)
Wonderful complementary artwork choice. Save a spot for me on one of the clouds.
And now just sharing my afterthought:
I saw a puffy cloud go by,
A masterpiece undone,
and so I hitched a ride on one,
The masterpiece now done.
Great complementary artwork choice. A pleasure to read. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer
