I thought that this was a very evocative piece. Loneliness is an issue that affects someone in more ways than we might think. You've emphasized here the worries of a parent when their loved ones leave the nest: worrying if they will contact them and come home again which must be a dreadful thought for any person to bear. A well written piece, good luck in the contest...Jacob

Excellent. This is well-written and tells a great story. You might want to try changing the background color as it is rather difficult to read. The writing is overwhelmed by the dark color. Otherwise, it is very good.
