I love the frame you added to the picture, it was a nice touch
And your words as always had that Godly touch.
Which I love so much.
Wow!
This one touched me very deeply
You captured the essence of the photo very well
Thank you for sharing.
I hope you get a chance to hear my poem.
Thank you for sharing.

Patricia, this is a good interpretation of the picture challenge. I felt the loneliness and sadness from reading this poem. An unhappy life at home but peace and love from and for the special place that gives you peace away from it all. I like that you concluded this poem with faith and love for God, finding peace for heart and soul. Thank you for sharing with well written poem. ~DD

Hi Patricia,
I can imagine how you would find solace in the wood where there's peace and silence.
I hope your family can be nice to one another again.

Thanks for the nice review. Of my birth family who I wrote about here are all gone except two brother and one sister. We live far apart so there are no noisy conflicts to deal with.

Yes! I used to seek solace in the woods...I used to ride alone with just the dog following the horse. It was beautiful. Now, it's just nothing but booms and low planes and such. I'm glad you had or have this opportunity for some quiet Pat...enjoy it as long as you can. :)

I see a lot of emotional distress in this piece. A troubled soul. But it ends with peace found in nature and the hands that created it. A journey created by your hands. Great job. Thank you for sharing your work.

This is a lovely reflection on the serenity nature provided
in the midst of upheaval and meanness. And surely, a walk
in the woods is a perfect place and time to commune with God :-)
Nicely done Patce :-)

I'm sorry you had to endure that Patricia. I'm glad you were able to escape to the woods for awhile. Parents react out of their own wounds. It's sad so many people don't get them healed.

This is a wonderful constructed poem. It gives the reader a feeling of tranquility and respite when in the middle of chaos. Lines flow well with good word choices. Marilyn
