This haiku, Wicked Wasp, does all things right including informing us of this relatively newly discovered species of sting jockey, and the bizarre (right up your alley) nesting style. Great stuff.

"dead fettid Feng shui" All I can say: 'each to his own', yes?
Who needs an encyclopedia? I am learning more about the world's weirdest things from these poems of yours. :)
Enjoy, sorta, your simple but interesting Haikkus

What's good for the bone-house wasp is most definitely not the right decor for the majority of us, LaRosa.
Not unless you're Hannibal Lecter or Ed Gein, of course.
Thanks for the review.
Take care,

Get the wicked wasp a new decorator quick.
Good job on your haiku Dean. I like the alliteration, the color scheme, the art. Your few words do paint this wasp as wicked. Maybe it & the female black widow spider are friends,NOT! This is a great contribution to your book. The notes were awesome--what a way to learn more about our world.
Thanks for sharing. Jan

A well-written haiku club challenge poem. Fascinating wasp. The information you provided was very good. You could write a horror story about these guys. The video held interesting information on a variety of new species. I found the new sea slugs fascinating. But I am really interested in things like this. Thank you for adding the extra information.

So am I, Winnona, quite obviously.
I'm rather into the odd and unusual creatures of nature myself. Those "lesser-known" by most.
Thanks for your review.

This is a very well written haiku! This is exactly why I do not like wasp to this day. They are mean and sting really bad! lol You used very good descriptive wording and the imagery went so well with this! Great job my friend! Blessings, Teri

I knew eight legs would be a disadvantage but perhaps not so much of a disadvantage as none at all. Not a nice wasp at all this one, but then is there all that much of a difference between that, and the way our human chefs throw live lobsters into boiling water to cook them, ensuring freshness?
I think these spiders would be said to be "in the dragon's mouth" (not a good place for you to be) when considering their placement in the nest, having regard to the Feng Shui.
