Excellent presentation. You show why there's reason for concern about refugees from those countries coming into the U.S. I think the total ban is a bit extreme, as those people can't all be terrorists. Sometimes would-be terrorists manage to blend in, as that couple in San Bernardino did. Young men already in the U.S. become radicalized. By careful vetting and keeping down the number of refugees who enter the U.S. maybe some acts of terrorism can be prevented. The Islamic extremists are a clever lot, and we have to keep ahead of them. I don't think a

Excellent presentation. Brett this book by Barb Barker must be a very interesting read.
From what I can gather the biggest outrage in the eyes of some Americans would be the sweeping suggestion that all from these 7 countries emigrating to the states are evil. Sadly we as people tend to tar everyone with the same brush which then affects the innocent. The biggest problem as I see it is the illegals entering the country that fk it up for all legal immigrants.
I am not a religious person but I will always respect some one else's beliefs until it affects my way of living. And here in lies the problem.

A very well-written editorial. I agree the ban should be made permanent. It is not about the religious of these people only, it is more about their intentions why they want to immigrate ILLEGIALLY. With the focus on illegally.
