We need those bees - they are the nectar of life. Great little haiku with good visual and sound imagery. Good interconnected lines.

You really are into these now, aren't you, Ulla, and doing a brilliant job with them too. Well done on this one, it's perfect and exactly what bees do. Nectar of life, brilliant! Big hugs. Sandra xxxx

Awwww, Sandra, thanks so very much. I'm overwhelmed of the reception of this haiku. I do enjoy to write them, and I'm intrigued with the form. Another factor is I've been so fortunate to have been to Japan a lot, and I've always been interested with their culture. Never knew anything about haiku before I joined FS, but somehow it makes so much sense to me. Big hugs to you. Ulla xxxx

I'm so happy you chose bees to write about everything. I'm allergic to them, but that being said they are essential to plant life. Many types of bees are becoming extinct. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.

A very well-written haiku on bees. They are always seem to be busy fluttering around flowers from the garden to be the nest where they gather nectar to make honey.

Ulla,
I really like this haiku, but my problem is that I can barely see it. The font color blends in too much with the black (IMO.) Can you make it bold or something? Thanks!

Hi Robyn, thank you so very much. Nobody have mentioned it and I have made the writing bold. I wonder if you've read it just before I did that. Thanks again. All the best. Ulla:)))

I love how the medley of Fs and Bs and Ls make this SOUND like flittering bees somehow, read aloud! Lovely post with fine presentation. This is a potent tribute to bees, without whom none of life would continue long...
Perfect word economy too! Bravo!
Lots of Love,
