I LOVE the photo of Carlo's cat. I wish you the best with your surgery tomorrow.

Wow, what year did you join? I joined in February also in 2006. Over ten years now. Talk about an addiction. I don't think I even been on Facebook that long.
Oh, as I read on, I see you've been here since 2008.

Eventually(,) after heaven knows how many emails I sent,

Half way to the restaurant, I realiezed (realized) I was not hungry, turned around and went back to my apartment.

I am re-posting my novel, Behind Green Eyes if you are interested. Chapter one posted yesterday and I think I'm posting two today.
hugs heidi

P.S. Tom has been extremely helpful to me.

And that's the way it was, as Walter Cronkite used to say on You Are There, a day
like all days filled with those events that alter and illuminate out time. Fine ramble.

Yes, that is definitely the way it was. Haven't thought about it for awhile, but I miss Walter Cronkite.

There's a song that fits your situation with your FS account perfectly: "Mama said there'd be days like this!" We all have 'em; you're just honest enough to share yours in a humorous way. I enjoyed reading this update and hope all goes well with your surgery and recovery.

I will be fine and I am just psyching Carlos up so I can have a nice day of rest. Not nice, but what the heck? Right?

I hope ten hours was an exaggeration! But I'm glad you finally know what caused your computer to melt down--your secret is safe with you!! I am glad Tom maintained his graciousness. Thanks for the updates and the picture of the cat to symbolize your recent mood. I'll be thinking about you on Monday and hope the procedure goes smoothly- Joan

Good one mate. So glad someone is happy with Tom. I guess after all that he deserves some kind of award. But, he won't get nay from me. Still working on my Autobiography re -edit. Hope to get it all up for a further big review soon, then hopefully get it published.

He has always been great with me. It all depends on what the problem is and how you present it to him. He must get dozens of complains/problems a day. Glad you liked this one.

What a damn mess! So glad you finally got it resolved. Anything involving computers and trying to fix a problem is way beyond me! Just glad there is a Best Buy near me. I think they know me on a first name basis.
Wait, Carlos has a cat??? Why didn't he just send him downstairs? That would have solved your mice problem. Maybe, no all cats are moosers. (sp?)
What surgery are you having? Did I know about it? Let me know how you are doing?

Carlos's cat is feral an hides on the roof whenever anyone comes by. Carlos is the only person that allows him to pick him up. He (the cat) would eat me alive long before he got around to the mice. I am having a second surgery on the Basel cell carcinoma on my back. I am sure I will be fine, just making a big deal out of it to get Carlos to wait on me hand and foot for a day so I can get some well deserved rest.

Great picture to accompany this. I know what you went through. I got a message my computer was shutting down and a number to call. Panicked at the thought of losing all my info, I gave this man permission to fix it online. Then he sent an internet check which I signed ($360) and completed with my bank account number! To make a long story short, I changed my number and cancelled the check. But what a bunch of hoops I had to go through. Now, I have another problem-- by account is missing over a thousand dollars. Jessica with the hunker earrings and sheer white blouse over black lacy under wear is my Carlos-- trying to find what happened.

Sounds like my bank here. Someone cloned my debit card and wiped out my account. The bank said it was my problem and wouldn't do anything about it. I closed my account, changed banks and now the old bank is hassling me about a small loan I owe them (less than the amount stolen out of my account) . I told them they give me my stolen money and I'll give them what I owe...otherwise forget it. A lawyer told me to ignore them, they can't do anything to me. The bank doesn't have a leg to stand on. After five years they have to write off the loan and I am off scott free. Only two years to go!.

Oh, yes I know there are more than one Tom...I assume there has to be at least 10, possibly more. Whoever helped was a dear and didn't get upset with me once, despite my angry and obnoxious email. Got to give him credit for that.

Wishing you luck on your surgery. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is good imagery.

I, like many , was born in a century when telephones were the big deal of the day. I just have no business using a computer. My brain cannot handle them and all I do is get myself in trouble.
