Like this poem with a good picture of the cat. Good rhyming, and word flow as you talk about your day. Sounds like a lazy day which we all need now and then to get caught up on our rest.

It is a charming, rainy day poem, Jeni. Do nothing on a day like that and feel no guilt at all. The stanzas are so pleasant to read. Makes us realise that we need to take care of ourselves and take it easy from time to time. Rainy days are perfect for that.

I loved your poem. I can understand those feelings on rainy days. (though at the moment we are sweltering in 35 degs. heat. So I still don't feel like doing anything.

Very nicely done, Luna. My only possible tid-bit is, "my windows looks rain streaked." Technically speaking "looks" is the plural of "look." Ad in, "the doctors gave the x-ray quite a few looks." Either "window" or "looks" should be singular - my window looks - or - my windows look...

There is a feeling of freedom in your words. It is great to have a rainy day and do nothing or do something fun. I like the line about feeling no guilt, something we all need from time to time. The pic of the cat is perfect for the poem.
